About Morgan Autism Center

Serving the community since 1969, Morgan Autism Center is a non public school. It has been providing positive, highly structured educational programs for pre-school and school-age children with autism and other developmental disabilities in Santa Clara, San Mateo and other Bay Area counties. In 1985, an Adult Program was introduced, focusing on vocational independent living skills, and continued academic enrichment.

Morgan Autism Center is recognized both nationally and internationally as a model program. The center has received numerous awards and State Department of Education commendations for its remarkable program.

Morgan Autism Center continues to expand our community outreach programs by hosting conferences, lectures, parent and sibling support groups in addition to working with local school districts and the Santa Clara University. San Jose Unified School District selected the Morgan Autism Center model to use in implementing an autism program in their district. As part of our collaboration with San Jose Unified School District, Morgan Autism Center provides training of all involved San Jose staff and on-going classroom consultations.

We are partnering with Santa Clara University, Special Education Department to host student teachers at Morgan Autism Center to train them for the Morgan Autism Center model. Pediatric residents from Lucile Packard Children's Hospital at Stanford are assigned time at our center to complete their pediatric rotation.
